These Oils Will Make Your Skin Glow from Head to Toe

September 5th, 2017

After a long, sticky summer of avoiding anything heavy or greasy for my skin and hair, I always seem to be caught off-guard when the temperatures suddenly drop and my skin is desperately thirsty and my hair is a frizzy mess. Of course, with winter still (thankfully!) being many months away, it’s not exactly time to pull out thick creams and heavy hair masks; rather, during transitional times of year I turn my focus to light oils to care for everything from my flaky skin to my frizzy split ends and even my cuticles.

“Light oils” sounds like an oxymoron, right? But, I promise you it isn’t. As long as you’re choosing products made with plant-based oils, rather than ingredients like mineral oil (which is a derivative of petroleum), your skin and hair will soak it right up with no heavy or greasy residue. Here, I’ve rounded up some favorite oil-based products to keep you nourished and glowing from head to toe this fall.

Loving all of these oils! I remember I used to be so scared to try oils thinking they would make my face even greasier but they do the exact opposite. Awesome round up girl!

I’d love to try any of these oils! I’m currently enjoying the Rose Hip oil from The Ordinary. I feel like it helped reduce my pores and smooth out my skin.

I’ve been using Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery for several years and it’s the best that I’ve found. Every morning my skin is soft, dewy and radiant. Literally the first time I used it overnight, I woke up, and my husband looked at me and said “you look radiant!” He is NOT they kind of guy to give compliments either. I was like “SOLD!”
