Weekend Notes *Holiday Edition*

December 13th, 2015

this fireplace mantle is so gorgeous - love the christmas garlandHey guys! I’m sure many of y’all are also in full holiday mode this weekend: trimming the tree, wrapping gifts, and jingle bell rockin’ at parties tonight. These weeks in December fly by so quickly that it feels like a challenge to squeeze in all the requisite holiday festivities before the season ends — but visiting Santa and making hot toddies is supposed to be fun, so let’s all take a deep breath and relax for a sec, okay? It’s all gonna be okay. To help make planning it all a little easier, I thought that instead of sharing our usual favorite links today, I’d post a roundup of all our best holiday resources to make the most of the season. 2. Confession time: My tree is not yet trimmed, my gingerbread house is not assembled, and my apartment is currently one giant mess. I’m having my living room and pantry assembled and installed as I’m typing this, and all I can do is hope that I can put everything in order just in time for Santa to deliver the gifts. I’m taking it with a healthy dose of philosophy: progress, not perfection is my motto this Christmas season. I’ll have to catch up on all the fun Christmas stuff next year 😀
