What to Read, Watch and Listen To This Month

My December 2016 List

December 27th, 2016

The most blissful part of the holidays is having time to truly relax, amiright? The week between Christmas and New Year’s is one of the only times of the year when I don’t feel guilty for spending an entire day lounging by the fire, hanging out with family and getting up only to pour another cup of hot cocoa. Of course, a stack of good books and a few great movies queued up on Netflix are the essential companions to those long lazy days, so this month’s recommendations come at the perfect time. Keep scrolling to read about the books, movies, TV, podcasts, and music I’ve been loving this month, and I’d love to hear in the comments what’s on your current list so I can add them to my list!

I love nothing more than spending this week relaxing and have watched so many films these past few days! My friend really recommend that episode of black mirror so I may have to go and watch it!

BroadChurch on Netflix…just give it 10 minutes and you will be hooked!

Saw the 60 Minutes episode about the Suskind family, Life Animated. It was a sweet and encouraging story.

The weird time between Christmas and New Year is definitely the time to be snuggled up with a good book, I asked for a couple from Santa for just that reason

I’ve heard good things about Black Mirror — I need to check it out. I’m currently rereading the Harry Potter series (best decision I’ve ever made) and am about to bunker down and watch all the award season movies!
