Morning, y’all! We’re in Houston this weekend to celebrate Chanel’s engagement — we haven’t talked too much about it here on the blog quite yet, but I did post a hint at the fabulousness that is to come when she ties the knot this fall, so stay tuned for more on that. Even though it’s a quick drive from Austin, I’m pretty unfamiliar with Houston’s scene, so it was fun to do a little exploring yesterday — cocktails with friends at Anvil, late night bites at the bar at Liberty Kitchen and Oysterette (the best poké bowl), and hopefully a little breakfast and shopping before I head home today. Any recommendations where we should go? Stay tuned for a ton of fun stuff on the blog this week (including a grown-up slumber party!) and in the meantime, enjoy my favorite links from around the web this week. xo
