FOOD EDITORIAL INTERN
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about every aspect of digital lifestyle media for someone who’s passionate about joining the field. We’re looking for a candidate with an upbeat, positive attitude, strong writing skills, and an interest in food and food journalism. A high level of creativity and attention-to-detail also “musts”. This is a paid position that can be based anywhere in the US.
Qualifications:
- Knows way around the kitchen—can follow recipes and loves consuming and creating food content
- Eagerness to develop food styling skills
- Quick learner, self-motivated, organized, and highly detail-oriented
- Strong written and communications skills
- Ability to learn and implement SEO optimization
- Solid grasp of lifestyle social media scene with a pulse on trends
- Self-motivated and excited to contribute to the team
Responsibilities:
- Assist food editor to implement SEO strategy across Food category
- Assist production team on set with food styling needs (if based in Austin)
- Write assigned food articles for camillestyles.com
- Analyzing and reporting metrics across social platforms and Google Analytics
- Assisting with creation of imagery for Camille Styles newsletter, articles, and social
- Organize recipe database, refresh archival posts and optimize for search
- Assist social media lead with community engagement efforts
