Your Perfect Brow Product, Found

By Camille Styles

It’s no secret that I’m a bit brow obsessed (you can read about my brow journey here), and I’m definitely not the first to preach that full, well-groomed brows are the quickest way to a naturally gorgeous look. But with all the new brow products that hit Sephora each month, the answer is no longer as simple as finding the right shade of pencil. To help narrow the field, we polled our beauty council of experts to find out which waxes, gels, powders, and creams they swear by to get their brows polished in a snap. Keep scrolling to find your perfect formula, and let us know in the comments if we left out any of your faves!

Mary Kay Clear Eye Brow Gel / Jane Iredale PureBrow Brow Gel

I use one from Jane Iredale since I prefer natural products when I can find them. However, I’m also a big fan of everything Kristie Streicher does, and she turned me on to Mary Kay’s clear eye brow gel which is also amazing.

Pro-Tip: I love to apply Kristie’s Afore Oil before doing my brows to keep my skin calm and moisturized…sometimes I use it a as a cuticle oil as well!

Illamasqua Brow Gel in Stare

I don’t have any brows, but I still like for them to look real. In order to achieve a natural look, I use an art brush for precision and draw in small hairline strokes.

Glossier Boy Brow

Pro-Tip: First, brush your brows up and fill in any gaps with powder. Then, top with the Boy Brow and brush up and out. It will give you a strong, bold brow.

Maybelline Eye Studio Brow Drama

This stuff is cheap, reliable, and provides a very sheer tint which makes it a great product for someone who’s a newbie to brow make-up. Foolproof!

Mary Kay Brow Gel

I get my brows done at Striiike and they swear by this gel. It’s pretty perfect with a great brush, and barely there look. Can’t be mad about the price either.

Too Faced Bulletproof Brows

I severely over-tweezed in the 90’s, and now my scrawny brows just won’t grow back. Luckily with the help of this cream, I’m able to fake much fuller brows that still look natural. Also, it’s waterproof so I don’t have to worry about my faux-brows sweating off.

Laura Mercier Matte Eye Colour

My brows are super blonde so a lot of brow products end up looking too dark. My solution? A natural bristled eyebrow brush and this eyeshadow in coffee ground.

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil

They have the best shades, and provide the most natural fill for my brow. With a brush on the other end, it’s an easy to use product that simplifies my morning routine.

IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil

I prefer a pencil to other forms of brow products, because I can really control the lines and fill in my brows with small hair-like strokes.
