Potpourri on the Stove

Stovetop potpourri isn’t just for the holidays, it’s a great way to freshen the air in your home any time of year! Simmer water in a small saucepan and add citrus slices and herbs, like lavender, rosemary and mint for a summery scent or go the cozy route with sliced apples, orange rinds, cinnamon and cloves. Set a timer to check on the simmering potpourri every 30 minutes to see if you need to add water, or turn it off, or use a crockpot for a no-fuss option!

Diffused Essential Oils

Essential oils are an amazing way to scent your home in a way that’s not overpowering. They’re easily customizable and you can create a custom blend that’s unique for your home or adjust depending on your mood. A fun hack is to put a few drops on your air filter when replacing it.
