In the spirit of transparency, I have selfish reasons for writing this post. Every year, I intend to put a little more planning into fall shopping. My imaginary plan: I build a streamlined wardrobe that’s made up of entire looks that go together, and each season I strategically add a chic mix of investment pieces and lower-priced items. What really happens: Since I got too busy to actually spend time shopping, I randomly buy something for an event at the last minute because I suddenly “have nothing to wear!” — and then never wear it again. So, I am writing this post to force myself to plan ahead this year. I actually took the time to comb through all the new collections of my favorite shopping sources across all different price points, and identify the items that either (a) my wardrobe is lacking in, or (b) I’ve fallen so in love with that I can’t survive without them. Just pretty please don’t buy the last size of any of these items, because I haven’t had time to actually buy any of them yet. But I’m going to. Really.

These are all great picks! I definitely have some fall shopping on the brain now, too. I’m loving that saddle bag and the chic sneaks. Those items scream fall to me!

Love this post! Fall fashion & Fall wardrobe shopping is my favorite, and I go through the same thing every Fall too! I just recently found thrift stores to be THE place to buy awesome Fall fashion finds! See my “fall essential” thrift store finds in my most recent blog post!

I am loving that cropped wool coat, such a fantastic colour for fall – although I’m always partial to blues/navys etc…!

Die Farbe des Sweaters passt ja wohl 1:1 so in den Herbst 🙂

Happy fall! Love those pink pants. Similar pair in 100% silk on sale at Lola, one of my favorite Arkansas boutiques: https://shoplola.com/product/zinga-pants/

I know I can definitely relate to not planning my fall outfits adequately and living on the edge, never really having anything wear! This has definitely motivated me to plan ahead too!

P.S The Elastic Ankle Length boots from Zara is a must have! So gorge!
