10 Tropical Cocktails That Are Almost As Good as Going on Vacation

Island vibes in a glass.

There’s nothing quite like a mojito or a frosty piña colada to get you in a vacation state of mind, even if you’re thousands of miles away from an actual beach with no getaway plans in sight. And while a night with friends at a Tiki bar sounds like a great way to capture those OOO vibes, why not turn an evening at home into a staycation with one of these easy tropical cocktail recipes?

With plenty of rum and island-style flavors like guava, coconut, and pineapple, each of these cocktails is perfect for sipping on the patio with friends this summer.

Any of these would be a perfect pairing with a crudité platter (just swap in fruit and veggies that complement the flavors of your chosen cocktail) and a Caribbean–inspired recipe like Jamaican jerk chicken. That said, they will all go equally well with an afternoon spent doing absolutely nothing at all.
