My friend & I shared this acai bowl in NYC last Fall and I’ve been hooked ever since. Full of fruit and antioxidants, but also not too sweet. This is a great option for me before a long bike ride as I need all the fast-acting carbs I can get.

Acai Breakfast Bowl

Serves 1

Acai Breakfast Power Bowl

  • acai powder
  • 1 frozen banana
  • unsweetened almond milk
  • protein powder
  • coconut flakes
  • hemp seeds
  • cacao nibs
  • granola
  • fresh berries
  • optional: almond butter


  1. In a blender, combine the acai powder, frozen banana, unsweetened almond milk and a scoop of protein powder. Hint: most ace powders come with a great ace bowl recipe on the back.
  2. Option to swirl in almond butter for extra fat and protein.
  3. Top with coconut flakes, hemp seeds, cacao nibs, granola and fresh berries.
