Cocoa Green Smoothie

  • 1/2 frozen banana, chopped into 1" pieces
  • 1 cup spinach (more or less depending on how "green" you like it)
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 pitted date
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • 1-2 cups almond milk (enough to just cover all your ingredients in the blender)


  1. Combine all ingredients in blender the blend on high until smooth.
  2. Pour into a large glass – bonus points for a cute straw.
  3. Drink!
