Easiest Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples
  • 2/3 cup coconut sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • juice from half of lemon
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Peel, core and dice all four apples into 1/2″ by 1/2″ cubes.
  2. Add apples to a bowl and add 1/3 cup coconut sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon, and juice from half a lemon. Using a rubber spatula, mix all ingredients together.
  3. Pour apple mixture into 10 1/2″ by 7 1/2″ baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix together oats, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon.
  5. Cut butter into 1/2″ pieces and add to oat mixture.
  6. Using your fingers, mix oat mixture and butter together until butter is fully incorporated. Cover apples with the crumble mixture.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until oat crumble on top is beginning to turn golden.
  8. The apple mixture will thicken as it sits, so let it sit as long as possible and serve with ice cream!
