To me, there are few things more relieving than my nighttime skin care routine. There’s something about washing grime away with cleanser and warm water, toweling off, and massaging in a rich night cream is like a mini spa treatment in the midst of a hectic day—what better way to prepare to head to dreamland?

Since nighttime is an optimal time for your skin to rest and rejuvenate (no onslaught of sunlight and environmental stresstors to deal with!), it’s crucial that you don’t waste those precious zzz’s by picking the wrong night cream for your skin type. Ahead, I’ve selected a fabulous range of treatments that will seriously pamper your unique complexion overnight—read ahead to check them out!

Dr. Brandt’s Do Not Age Dream Night Cream

For those of us who are feeling seriously run-down (calling all new mamas!), this cream is supercharged with Tahitian black pearl extract to encourage cell turnover and ceramides that provide deep hydration.

The True Cream from Belif

This is my current night cream, and I cannot recommend it enough. The formula is nice and clean (i.e. free of parabens, mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, and other irritating nasties), and it provides the optimum amount of moisture that leaves your skin feeling perfectly nourished, never greasy.

e.l.f. Nourishing Night Cream

On a budget? Look no further than this gentle jojoba-and-aloe infused cream (perfect for sensitive skin types) from e.l.f., which will set you back only 12 (!) dollars. Who said that luxury had to break the bank?

Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C Night Cream

If the darker, chillier weather has you feeling, well, a bit dull, look no further than this ingenious cream from Lumene. Vitamin C provides major brightening power, plus Arctic cloudberry sea oil will smooth and fortify skin’s outer layer, ensuring that your complexion is in tip-top shape going into winter.

Beauty Before Age Uplift Night Cream from Ahava

If you’re hoping for some lifting and tightening power (hey, aren’t we all?), this pick from Ahava boasts some serious wrinkle-fighting benefits, thanks to an exclusive blend of Dead Sea minerals that totally recharge the skin.

Verso Night Cream

If you haven’t tried retinol yet, let this be your gateway drug: this fabulous night cream mixes its Retinol 8 complex with oat antioxidants to effectively retexturize skin, leaving it smoothed and calmed.

100% Pure Vitamin A & CoQ10 Wrinkle Smoothing Night Cream

Scared of harsh chemicals, but still looking for a night cream that packs a serious anti-aging punch? I’ve got the perfect pick for you: this cream by 100% Pure mixes organic rosehip oil with retinol for gentle, toxin-free exfoliation.

Glycolic Retexturizing Cream from Serious Skincare

Whether you’re fighting acne or wrinkles, this glycolic-acid packed cream will take care of both—plus, coffee extract will ensure that your skin is rejuvenated and ready to face a new day!

I use a snail cream at night from Etude House. I have been bitten by the Soko skincare bug but that glycolic and Vitamin C cream looks interesting to me

I tend to switch to a heavier night cream in Winter, my skin gets so dry! A serum beforehand makes all the difference too
