Happy weekend, beauties! Hope y’all are soaking up some time to recharge and rest up before the new week begins. Adam and I had an at-home date night on Friday and it reminded me that you really don’t have to “go out” in order to connect and prioritize time together. We let the kids watch a movie, then opened a bottle of wine, made pasta, and settled in front of the fire for a long conversation. And went to bed early too, which used to sound boring and now sounds like my idea of heaven. ICYMI, I shared this month’s editorial theme, plus our new April SHOP in my editor’s letter, and it got me feeling extra excited that spring is here. Bring on the sandals and sundresses!
And a favorite reader comment from the week, from Jen on Why I’m Ditching Fad Diets and Eating Gluten Again:
We have to take care of our hormones and the beautiful delicate balance it is to be a woman. Thus, to nourish and nurture ourselves should be priorities, whatever that may mean for each person. Strict diets – unless medically necessary – I have learned, just don’t serve most of us well. At this point, I am happy to be informed, but not beholden. No diets, just healthy balance.
Amen, sister! Have a wonderful end to your weekend, and scroll on for my favorite reads from around the web this week…

More at-home date ideas to try out on our next one – and bonus points that they’re (almost) free!
