Morning! Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend so far. These last couple days have been our first days of sunshine in a long time, so yesterday involved sitting on multiple restaurant patios: first with Adam and Phoebe devouring breakfast tacos, then later with my friend Erika, catching up over green juices at Whole Foods. Hoping that today involves more of the same. We’re also starting to think about transitioning the upstairs guest room into baby boy’s nursery (more on that coming soon), so some fun shopping, room planning, and lots of pinning to my nursery pinboard will be happening. What are all of you up to this weekend? Hope your day is fun and relaxing, and enjoy these links I loved from the past week!

Been welcoming the warmth of the sunshine in Houston too! I love that lots of little boy nursery items are soon to come. My sis-in-law just found out it’s a boy for them–their first!!

This is my favorite line from the NY Times article:
“the real crux of the moment was not just that I was really seeing someone, but that I was seeing someone really seeing me.”

Those Croissants are making me ache for Paris! Our Weekend is a long one. Friday night we visited with neighbors and Saturday we had a game night with some friends. Today and Monday will be quiet!

I love scanning through your links, seeing if anything grabs my attention (usually SEVERAL things do!). I so enjoyed the article about falling in love, and agree that is is mainly a choice. I clearly remember the moment I looked into my Jonathan’s eyes and thought, “Yes, I will love you,” and LET my carefully guarded heart fall in love with the man I would marry. Sweet memories today. Thank you for suggesting the fascinating read! 🙂
