Happy long weekend, darlings! The forecast is calling for a grey, rainy Memorial Day around here, but I don’t mind: all we have on the agenda is hunkering down with our new babe, visiting with family and friends who stop by, and probably binge-ing on our latest HBO addiction, Veep. This first week with Henry has been perfect, despite the lack of sleep (which, let’s be real, has made me occasionally crazy.) It’s funny how even though he can’t “give” anything back yet in terms of smiles or words, he has already melted my heart so much that I attribute everything he does to pure sweetness and would do literally anything for this boy. I’m savoring these last couple of days before Adam goes back to work on Tuesday — and have to admit I’m a tad apprehensive about waking up next week with a newborn, 2-year-old, and an entire day stretching before us! Would love any advice from you moms out there about how you structure your days in the beginning… it’s kind of hard to be out and about when they’re this little, but I’m also nervous about going stir-crazy!

Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend so far, and enjoy a few of my favorite links from around the web lately! xo

Unfortunately the link for the 10 ways to wear a long skirt has been removed. What a shame! I, too, would love to invest in a long skirt that I can wear on a casual, daily basis. I have a long yellow Ted Baker one that is a real show stopper and I love wearing it on special occasions, but it’s a little too much for casual outings. I think you’d look amazing in a long skirt, too!

Ps – that colour game is addicting!! Ahh.

First article is fascinating :). Will be using those tips from The New Potato as I get settled at my first job this summer! Thinking a long skirt might do my closet some good, too!
