Finally, A Budget You Can Actually Stick To

July 18th, 2017

If you’re like most people, creating a budget tends to fall to the bottom of your to-do list. And it’s no wonder! There’s something about a budget that feels so restrictive. Between careers and personal obligations, our lives have enough structure. Who wants to pile on even more rules? The thing is, the right kind of budget should empower rather than confine you. It should allow you to spend money on the things that make you happy and still meet your financial goals. I’ve finally found a budget that works for me, and I’m so excited to share it. Scroll down for five simple steps to start building yours.

Great, great tips! I’m not so good at sticking to a budget lately, so it’s nice to check in on finances a little. I don’t have many expenses, so I tend to spend a lot on smaller purchases, like food, beauty items and clothes, but it’s so important to pull back every now and again to make sure you never over spend.

Love this list! Budgeting isn’t always the sexiest convo but totally one everyone needs to have with themselves. I’m a spread sheet girl through and through so I loved this! Thanks for sharing 🙂
