Of all of this year’s Movie Inspired Costume Ideas, this might be the only one that’s an unassailable cult classic. It’s also probably one of the top 5 movies I’ve seen the most times in my life. (And by most times, I mean maybe a hundred.) I love Richard Linklater’s classic movie about the last day of high school more and more as time goes on. This costume is so easy, and makes a great addition to our archive of Group Costume Ideas. The biggest task you’ll have putting together this group costume is coming up with the shirts. We wanted to go for authenticity, so we had actual football jerseys printed by our pals at Custom Ink. Just like the girls wear in the movie! If you don’t want to bother with professional printing, you could always pick up a few iron letters and pack of white t shirts and go to town.
I picked up a pack of athletic whistles on Amazon, which made for a fun touch.
We paired vintage levis cutoffs with blue and white baseball socks.

The ketchup and mustard squirters are obviously hazing essentials, and we had a little too much fun playing with our on the day of the shoot.
This just might be a new favorite squad costume.
