Bitter Sweet Chocolate Brownies

  • 1 2/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 12 oz bitter sweet chocolate
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • Dash of Kosher salt
  • 13X9 inch pan


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a large pot. Make sure the heat is low and that you stir constantly. If you don’t, the chocolate will burn.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, vanilla and sugar until combined.
  4. Measure the flour, cinnamon and salt into another bowl and whisk to combine.
  5. Once the chocolate mixture has melted, let it cool for a few minutes and then whisk in the egg mixture. Then, mix in the flour mixture. Pour into pan and bake for 25-30 mins.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
