Sesame Dipping Sauce

  • 3 TB Tahini (ground sesame paste)
  • 9 TB toasted sesame seeds
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 2 TB Mirin (Japanese vinegar)
  • 2 TB sake – to taste
  • Dash cayenne pepper


  1.  Roast the sesame seeds in a pan until lightly browned.
  2. Put seeds and all remaining ingredients in the blender/processor until smooth.
  3. Feel free to add more soy or sake to get to the desired consistency.
