February is an invitation to soften the edges of everyday life. To bring a little more beauty into the routines we’re already living—how we care for ourselves, how we move through our homes, how we show up for the people we love (including ourselves). Romance this month needn’t be tied to a single day—it can be woven into the ordinary moments we choose to treat with care.

This month’s Editor’s Picks reflect that approach. They’re the pieces helping us elevate the everyday: wellness rituals that feel grounding and supportive, decor that adds warmth and intimacy, and small indulgences that make daily life feel considered rather than rushed. Thoughtful, comforting, and quietly special—here’s what we’re reaching for as we move through the heart of winter with intention.

In Our Closets

The Activewear That Makes Errands Feel Intentional

I’ve fully fallen for Stretch Your Story, and specifically their ButterEase Performance Jacket, ButterFlow Square Neck Longline Bra, and ButterEase Leggings—all in white. (I know, feeling bold—this is my secret to keeping my whites, white and everything smelling fresh.) The fit is sculpting without feeling restrictive, supportive without trying too hard, and perfect for barre3 classes, long walks, and the inevitable coffee stop afterward. Do I feel like a hot suburban mom while parenting two cats in Portland? Yes. Do I love it? Also yes. Put the brand at the top of your activewear wishlist—stat. – Isabelle Eyman, Editorial Strategist.

One Jacket, Two Colors

If I could own only one jacket, it would be my black Aritzia puffer—so it’s kind of surprising that it’s taken me this long to add a new color to my collection. The taupe version is so good. Its minimal earthy shade feels sophisticated, meaning I’ll wear it with sweats and a baseball cap, or with a more pulled-together look.

The Color Combination I Can’t Stop Wearing

I’m fully obsessed with pairing a gray-based blue and chocolate brown right now—specifically Everlane’s Midi Skirt in Cotton-Silk Organza in Kentucky Blue, styled with rich brown accessories. From a color theory perspective, it works because blue brings calm and clarity, while brown grounds the look with warmth. Together, they feel elevated but wearable, striking without being loud. I’ve been pairing the skirt with a chocolate-brown kitten heel (the Quince version is nearly identical to a sold-out favorite) and, in true editor fashion, supplementing with DISSH’s Kai Cornflower oversized shirt after Everlane broke my heart by not restocking their dupe. It’s polished, a little unexpected, and exactly the kind of outfit that makes winter dressing feel fun again. – Isabelle Eyman, Editorial Strategist.

A Total Outfit Upgrade

My Warby Parker sunglasses nail the formula: timeless shape, lightweight frame, and the kind of understated polish that goes with everything. They’re my effortless upgrade, stylish without trying too hard, and they’ve stood the test of time. Couldn’t recommend them more. – Anna Decker, Social Media and E-Commerce Manager.

In Our Homes

A Staple Piece for Any Space

My parents just built a house and have given me free rein to help design a guest room—fitting, since I’ll be staying there often. The vision is inspired by sweeping nature, namely, an English countryside escape. My jaw dropped when this beautifully moody, deep green rug was delivered. It’s going to be the perfect anchor for the room! – Brittany Chatburn, Marketing Director.

In Our Kitchens

A Sustainable Swap

I’ve been trying to make more sustainable swaps in the kitchen where I can, and the whole line of compostable bags and wraps from Compostic has been part of my composting game lately. The snack and trash bags are just as durable as any other option, and I love knowing they’re a great compostable alternative! – Suruchi Avasthi, Food Editor.

Always On My Table

Lately, we’ve brought back our nightly dinner salad ritual, which means this handcrafted wood salad bowl is in the center of our table every night, holding whatever mix of greens, fruit, roasted veggies, and crunchies I’ve tossed together. It’s a true essential for every kitchen and makes me happy every time I use it.

An Elevated Sweet Treat

My evening is not complete without a sweet treat, and my latest obsession is McConnell’s Ice Cream, more specifically, their Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate ice cream, which always makes me think of that Gilmore Girls scene at Taylor’s Candy Shoppe. This ice cream is so rich and chocolatey that any chocolate lover will fall for it. I like using a scoop of ice cream on top of a warm chocolate chip cookie, or serving it over chopped strawberries for a chocolate-covered strawberry vibe. – Suruchi Avasthi, Food Editor

Bye Bye Bloat

Lately, I’ve been starting my mornings with these Bare Bones Broth instant bone broth packets, and they’ve become one of those small rituals that make a noticeable difference. They’re an easy way to add protein first thing, support digestion, and help keep bloating at bay. The flavor is genuinely good, savory, and comforting without feeling heavy, and I love how effortlessly they dissolve into hot water. Sometimes I’ll squeeze in a little lemon, and it turns into the most nourishing cup. Bonus, they double as a simple way to season food when you want an extra boost of flavor and nutrients. – Tatom Hoffman, Marketing Intern.

In Our Bathrooms

From Blonde Burnout to Healthy Hair

This past fall, I transitioned back to my natural hair color after more than five years of college blonde. While the change took some getting used to, I’ve fully embraced this healthier chapter of my hair and couldn’t be happier. Alongside my tried-and-true Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner, one product I keep coming back to is this Ouai treatment mask. If you’ve found most hair masks too heavy for weekly use, this one might just change your mind. – Casey McKee, Editorial Intern.

Summer Hair, Coming Soon

Summer hair is made in the winter. I’ve been taking the slower season to really care for my hair. Winter can make it dry, so I fortify it with a good leave-in. This one is the best. My hair is prone to breakage, so I slather it on between styles. Let’s just say I’m looking forward to the volume I’ll get come summer. – Langa Chinyoka, Beauty Editor

Bathtime Obsession

Another day, another Corpus product to get addicted to… this body butter has a whipped texture that melts into the skin and leaves it glowing, radiating the most divine scents of bergamot, lemon, & orange blossom. My favorite treat for slathering on right after my bath.

Honoring Your Skin’s Natural PH

Osier is the kind of purpose-led brand that reminds me why I love wellness. Their story is inspiring, and their products are both luxe and affordable. I especially love their milky toner. I’m a sucker for any skin milk product, and this one is an instant favorite. Great for those nights your skin feels sensitive and needs some extra love. – Langa Chinyoka, Beauty Editor

In Our Routines

Sleep Savior

Those of you who have followed my journey to better sleep know that I really lean on the right supplements to help me stay asleep at night, and for me, adaptogens are super helpful and non-habit-forming. I recently switched to Ritual’s Stress Relief supplement, which supports the body’s natural cortisol response, so I don’t wake up with a pounding heart at 2 am! I love the lemony taste of all Ritual’s supplements, and this is a new fave in my daily lineup.

A Book That Makes You Want to Slow Down at the Table

I’ve been returning to The Art of Eating this month, and it feels especially right for February. M.F.K. Fisher writes about food not as fuel or performance, but as pleasure, ritual, and a way of paying attention to life. It’s the kind of book that makes you want to cook something simple, pour something special, and actually sit down to enjoy it. – Isabelle Eyman, Editorial Strategist.

The Hack to Beating Cold and Flu Season

I’ll do just about anything to avoid sick kids (and, by extension, sick parents), and my whole family loves this immunity-boosting superfood powder. I can hardly stand powders (or faux sugar aftertastes), and this one is so refreshingly good. It also comes in single packs for on-the-go! – Brittany Chatburn, Marketing Director.

For Carving Our You-Time

One of my 2026 goals is to treat myself without needing an excuse—and The NOW Massage fits perfectly into that mindset. I’m obsessed with their curated menu of services, especially the option to book a massage for as little as 25 minutes. It’s an easy, approachable way to build self-care into your routine, even though you’ll absolutely leave wanting more. A massage certificate is also a great gift. They’re currently running a promotion where you receive $20 for every $100 in gift cards purchased from 1/23 through 2/14… consider your Valentine’s Day gift found. – Bridget Chambers, Fashion Editor
