The past couple of weeks have brought a much needed wave of advocacy, awareness and support for the Black community.  While social media posts and trending hashtags have their place, our purchasing power is one long term way to not just acknowledge, but celebrate, Black voices and their ideas and businesses. Beyond donating, we can put our money where our mouth is by actually supporting Black owned businesses with our dollars.

It’s not the most important thing you can do for the movement right now by a long shot. But it’s well past the time we started giving Black-owned wellness and beauty brands their proper due and space in the wellness world.

These shops below don’t just hold merit as Black-owned wellness shops – they are also beautifully branded, thoughtfully curated and use ingredients that are non-toxic and intentionally sourced. Some of the brands below I have long loved (Brigeo, The Organic Bath Co and Fertile Alchemy!) and there are so many that are new discoveries for me. I hope you enjoy discovering some new favorites as much as I did!

Read on for 21 Black-owned clean beauty brands that are worth supporting, not only right now, but always.
