All of us at Team CS are taking the ‘less is more’ approach to holiday gift giving this year, choosing to ‘Marie Kondo‘ our Christmas lists with one or two nice gifts instead of several smaller gifts that won’t bring as much joy over the long haul. To spark some ideas, we tapped some of our Tastemakers to find out the top items on their gift lists. Scroll on for an exclusive look at some letters to Santa that were written outside the bungalow, by a few of our favorite leading ladies.

Daphne Oz | Chef, New York Times Bestselling Author, TV Host
“After the holidays and so many baked wheels of brie, cookies, mugs of cocoa, and (more than) a few flirty cocktails, we’re all going to be looking for a way to clean up come January. I’m excited to kick off 2019 with a wholesome, delicious, 10-day plant-based reset. This kit has everything you need to rebalance your gut with probiotics & an amazing superfood smoothie, flood your system with live plant love with my exclusive cleansing recipes, plus a few special tinctures and detox tea (my fave!), and protein bars to detox, energize and get you through your day!”

“I found this Australian pajama brand on Instagram and am obsessed with their soft, light-weight, durable linen construction. The shirt is oversized and the short shorts are sexy but comfortable — aka relaxed elegance, my favorite. I got the striped ones for my sisters (shhh) for Christmas, but all their sun-washed colors are so pretty and serene. Perfect for bedtime, lounging, and those days when you can’t get dressed (hello, babies!) but can’t be naked.”

Kelly LeVeque | Nutritionist, Wellness Expert, Celebrity Health Coach
“As a new mom, I asked for a few pieces of home workout equipment so I can get my sweat on while my son Sebastian takes his naps. I am super excited to see what Santa brings me…..!”

Aesop Reverence Hand Wash & Balm
“Aesop’s soap is such a little luxury – it has pumice and bergamot rind that are gently exfoliating, and combined with the incredible scent, it feels like a mini spa treatment every time I wash my hands.
I’m all about finding those mini moments of relaxation in 2019!”

Gail Simmons | Culinary Expert, Food Writer, Judge for Emmy-Winning Series Top Chef
“It’s no secret that cooking is my passion, but sometimes everyone needs a little break. For the holidays I’d love to receive the gift of ‘letting someone else be in charge.’ In NYC, The Culinistas do it perfectly. They are an agency of professional cooks, who will come to your house, do all the cooking (and the dishes!) – to stock out fridge with the freshest, tastiest meals for a day, a week or a festive dinner party – while you get to enjoy family time from the couch. It’s basically my idea of heaven.”

Tieghan Gerard | Founder, Half Baked Harvest
“I am always on the go these days and running from one thing to the next. This Senreve bag is going to help me look and feel polished enough to go straight from the plane to my next meeting or photo shoot. I love that it is cute, can hold a lot, and that it easily can go from a shoulder bag to a backpack! Honestly the perfect bag!”

Ashley Rose | Founder, Sugar & Cloth
“I love ALLLL the Sezane things, but this bag is a timeless color, fun shape, and still has plenty of room for stashing awake socks and wipes for our baby girl, plus some!”

Kelly Krause | Programming Manager – SXSW, Author at Camille Styles
“Did you know Kendra Scott made fine jewelry? I didn’t until I went to an event a few weeks back. This ring caught my eye as a pretty and dainty stackable ring that’s great for any occasion.”
Anine Bing Stevie Boots in Red
“I’ve declared red my power color for the time being, so when I came across these boots in NYC, I nearly stopped in my tracks and had to have ’em. They didn’t have my size in stock, so I left empty handed, but I still think about them nearly every time I’m getting ready for a night out.”

Jen Pinkston | Founder, The Effortless Chic
“This Clare V leopard attaché is at the tippy top of my Christmas wish list. It feels elevated, but still relaxed. It’s a bag that can go from a morning business meeting to a play date at the park to an evening event without skipping a beat. Anyone else having a major leopard moment right now?!”
