12 Ways to Make Greener Shopping Choices

July 27th, 2016

As most of us make efforts to clean up our diets and be a little kinder to the environment in the process, it’s also important to consider the products we’re putting on our bodies and bringing into our homes. Today’s post, in partnership with Seventh Generation as part of our Living Green series, is all about the simple choices you can make to “green up” your shopping habits. Since we’re also trying to avoid “fast fashion” fixes by investing in clothes that will last multiple seasons, it’s important to take care of them using gentle laundry detergents that are made without harsh chemicals, and Seventh Generation is our go-to source. Click through the slides for our top tips, and we’d love to hear about any of your greener shopping ideas in the comments!

Totally Agree with all and practice most of these things already. Not to mention farmer’s market food ALWAYS tastes more fresh than anything in our grocery store. I also love Mrs. Meyer’s cleaning products too!
