If I had to describe my eating habits in a nutshell, these toasts would be it. My approach is a lot less cooking and a lot more assembly, and as a result, I’m able to fill my diet with fresh, healthy ingredients, without spending tons of time and energy on it. Some might call it lazy; I call it efficient.
When we first started planning the #31mornings challenge, I knew I wanted to contribute a few breakfast recipes that are catered to people like me who like their first meal of the day to be simple-yet-hearty. Look for these three different Wasa Cracker breakfast toasts in your inbox over the next few weeks, or if you absolutely can’t wait, scroll down for links to the recipes below.
I typically like my breakfasts savory — the smoked salmon toast and avocado toast are right up my alley — but for those of you who like sweetness in the morning, we whipped up a tasty almond butter and cacao nib combo just for you.
Oh, and in case you were wondering: Wasa Crackers are a Scandinavian style crisp bread available in most grocery stores. They’re crunchy and light, making them the perfect vessel for just about any topping combination.
