It’s no question that all of us at CS are stoked for Halloween (or any holiday, TBH). It’s a perfectly brewed cauldron of hosting parties, festive decor, and spooky cocktails. Not to mention, it’s the one day of the year you can be anyone you choose to be, go-go boots and all, with no judgement – and who doesn’t love that? For this year’s get-up, we’ve rounded up our favorite celebrity costumes to inspire you to be the best version of your Halloween self. So, who will you be?

I was going to make the same point. The tragedy surrounding Mac Miler’s passing is fresh, and will remain so for some time. His inclusion in this light-hearted context felt out of touch.

Hey Taylor, we always strive to present content that’s inspiring and relatable to our readers, and as fans of Mac Miller, we were happy to include and photo of him in this story. That being said, we hear you. And since you’ve expressed concern, we’ll take the photo down. Thanks for your feedback and readership.

The inclusion of Mac Miller is insensitive especially in a time when most people are trying to be more cognizant of how their words and actions could impact others. I sincerely hope his family and friends don’t see this. Truly enjoy your blog but you might want to remove that costume from the post?

I personally wouldn’t show up anywhere as Michael Jackson considering all the allegations… Would anyone at CS? Most likely not!
I find that this post may not have been thought through properly.

Franziska — Agreed. This post was originally written before the latest most convincing allegations (ie the documentary) and reposted this year — and the MJ inclusion was an oversight on our part. It’s been removed. Thank you for calling it out! xo Camille
