Happy longgggg weekend, friends (as in, this weekend has lasted 10 days and I’ve still got a few left.) How were all of your holidays? Ours were full of highs and a few mehs, from Henry getting his tonsils out to all of us getting hit by a 5-day cold. But I got a new car! And we gathered our whole fam together for our annual Christmas Eve/Christmas Day festivities! And today we’re having a few friends over for a long lazy brunch at our house, which is one of my favorite gatherings to host since everyone’s feeling awake and relaxed. I’m making a build-your-own breakfast taco bar and setting out my new fave banana bread recipe (that’s coming to the site real soon, don’t you worry), and setting out fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice and a bottle of good tequila for self-serve greyhounds.
Do y’all have big plans for NYE or ending the year with a cozy night in? I always have a hard time deciding, but this year I think we’re gonna put on our sparkles and hit the town. Can’t wait to kickoff a new year right here with you guys – we’ve got lots of inspiring stories coming to help make it your best one yet.
