Find Your Passion With This One Simple Change in Your Perspective

January 29th, 2018

On my drive to work the other day, I listened to a podcast interview with life coach Gabrielle Bernstein, and she said something that struck me so deeply that I had to pull over and write it down. “The secret to finding your passion is bringing passion to everything you do.” Whoa. It was a simple idea that floored me. We all have a longing in our hearts to spend our lives doing something we’re passionate about, but so often, the search for that something seems elusive. But could it be possible that finding our passion starts with a simple perspective switch that all of us can put into practice this very minute? Keep reading for three simple ways I’m bringing more passion into my everyday life.

This is a great little post with some valuable tips. I totally agree. The way you bring passion and engagement into the things you do can really change your outlook on live.

This is incredible! I feel like I’ve just been trudging through life recently, but you’re right, put your heart into it! I can remember times when I did this and these were the best times. I actually have a (massive) copy of a cleaning book by Martha Stewart, I’m going to have to see how she suggests doing things (I know you meant that figuratively but I’m taking it literally), but she does it thoroughly and with passion.

This is a great post and I love the three points that you have raised especially the last one. I have noticed that whenever I carry out a task with my senses immersed into what Iam doing, I tend to enjoy it more.

This is honestly the real deal. My husband is seen as passionate and charismatic because he cares SO much about everything he spends his time on. If you’re interested in things, want to learn, discover, be curious, you’ll find passion in many things. Definitely using these tips!

I liked the quote so much I had to zoom on over and listen to the podcast right now! Gratitude, presence and passion. I think it was actually Marie Forleo and not Gabby who said, “The secret to finding your passion is bringing passion to everything you do.”

I love this! It reminds me a lot of one of my favorite movies, About Time. The same message in it, and such a great reminder. Especially in my current season of having small children, I want to be sure I’m present as much as possible because I know it all goes so fast.

I also got this little sign to hang in our main room as a reminder: https://www.etsy.com/listing/266337457/embroidery-hoop-art-be-present-simple?ref=shop_home_active_4
