We all love those lazy days of summer—lounging at the pool, enjoying meals al fresco, and spending all day in the sun. But after a few days of soaking up the warm-weather goodness, you quickly come to realize: sometimes, it’s just too dang hot! Especially here in Austin, where, on a typical summer day, I’m perfectly content retreating to my comfy living room to soak up the cool AC. Luckily, sunrooms were invented as the solution to my predicament.
They’re the perfect place to enjoy the sun’s rays without breaking a sweat. I love the idea of decking out a sunroom as a dining room, converting it into a lounge area, or even switching things up with a high-style garden shed. Scroll down to see some of our favorite sun-filled spaces, and let us know which one is your fave!
